What is the best way forward for applying for a better job.?

Hello all, i m working as a tgt in KVS on regular basis for the last three years. Now i have qualified the UGC-NET exam and want to apply in a college or university. As per rules i can apply through proper channel only and that also two or three times in a year. Now so many posts are being advertised, how can i apply for these posts. If i m aplyng directly and mentioning my experience, my application may be rejected as i m not applying through proper channel. Secondly if i don't mention my employment in govt organisation, am i not supressing the information and how can i justify these three years at the time of interview. Kindly suggest the best way forward for applying to various govt jobs.
