Universal Studios or Knotts Berry Farm? Which is best?

My husband and I are going on a summer vacation and were driving through California (and Oregon) to see my friend up in Washington. We wanted to stop by both Universal Studios and Knotts Berry Farm because we havn't been to either. But we can only afford one. Which one is better? Or more worth the price? Or better for adults? etc.?
